NOTICE OF ELECTION
DOWDELL PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
(A political subdivision of the State of Texas, located in Harris County, Texas)
TO THE RESIDENT, QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF DOWDELL PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an election will be held within Dowdell Public Utility District (the “District”) on May 2, 2026, in accordance with an order duly entered by the Board of Directors of the District.
1. PURPOSE OF ELECTION
PROPOSITION A – THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS FOR PARK AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES
THIS IS A TAX INCREASE; the issuance of $20,000,000 bonds for park and recreational facilities, and the levy of ad valorem taxes sufficient to pay principal of and interest on the bonds.
2. ELECTION DAY POLLING PLACE
Election Day voting shall be conducted on May 2, 2026, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the following location:
- Dowdell Water Plant No. 4
7501½ Spring Stuebner Road, Tomball, Texas 77375
3. EARLY VOTING

Dates and Hours:
- April 20–24, 2026: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- April 27–28, 2026: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Applications must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 21, 2026.
To be effective, an application submitted by email must also be submitted by mail and received by the Early Voting Clerk not later than the fourth business day after the email is received.
5. ELIGIBILITY TO VOTE
All resident, qualified electors of the District may vote.
The voter information document relating to Proposition A is available at the District’s office and on the District’s website.
