Board Meetings

Dowdell PUD has regularly scheduled board meetings that normally take place every third Thursday of every the month at 6:00 p.m. The meetings are held at the operator’s office which is located at 19333 Haude Road, Spring, Texas 77388. These meetings are open public meetings and in turn residents are encouraged and invited to attend.

The District does have occasional special meetings at designated meeting places inside the boundaries of the District. Residents of the District have the right to request the designation of a meeting location within the District under Water Code Section 49.062(g). If no suitable meeting place exists inside the District, the Board may designate a meeting place outside the District that is located not further than 10 miles from the boundary of the District. If the Board of Directors fails to designate a meeting place within the district or not further than 10 miles from the boundary of the District, after the receipt of such petition, five registered voters may petition the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to designate a meeting location.
